Effective: May 20, 2026
These terms govern your use of GutSense (“the app”), operated by TenhetApp (“we”, “us”). By creating an account or using the app, you agree to these terms.
GutSense is a personal journal for tracking food and symptoms, with optional pattern detection that highlights correlations in your own data.
GutSense is not a medical device, diagnostic tool, or substitute for medical care. The patterns it surfaces are statistical associations in your own logs, not medical findings. They may be wrong. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional before making changes to your diet, medication, or treatment of any symptom. Do not use GutSense to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease. If you think you are having a medical emergency, call your local emergency number.
You must be at least 13 years old (or older if your country requires) to use GutSense. By using the app you confirm that you meet that requirement and that you can lawfully enter into these terms.
You are responsible for keeping your password safe and for everything that happens under your account. Notify us at info@tenhetapp.com if you suspect your account has been accessed without your permission.
Your meals, symptoms, photos, notes, and other entries are your content. You own it. By using GutSense you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to store, process, and display that content for the sole purpose of operating the app for you (including computing pattern correlations and generating PDF exports you request).
We never sell your content, and we do not use it to train AI models.
GutSense Plus is an optional auto-renewing subscription that unlocks pattern detection, unlimited history, doctor-ready PDF export, photo logging, and unlimited ingredient lookups.
You agree not to:
We may suspend or close accounts that violate these rules.
We try to keep GutSense available and working, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Maintenance, outages of upstream providers (Supabase, Anthropic, app stores), or factors outside our control may temporarily affect availability.
We may change features, add or remove functionality, or modify these terms. If we change these terms materially, we will notify you in the app before the new terms take effect. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated terms.
You can delete your account at any time from Settings, which permanently removes your data. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or that pose a security risk; in such cases we will notify you when reasonably possible.
GutSense is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy of pattern correlations or ingredient inferences, and non-infringement.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, TenhetApp and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or revenue, arising from your use of GutSense. Our total liability for any claim arising from these terms or your use of the app is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim, or USD $50, whichever is greater.
These terms are governed by the laws of USA/TN, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction, except where consumer-protection laws in your country of residence give you rights to a different venue.
