Delete your GutSense account
GutSense lets you permanently delete your account and all associated data at any time, free of charge.
How to delete your account
In the app
- Open GutSense on your phone.
- Tap Settings in the bottom tab bar.
- Scroll to the Data section.
- Tap Delete account and confirm.
By email
If you no longer have the app installed, email info@tenhetapp.com from the address associated with your account and ask us to delete it. We will process the request within 7 days and confirm by reply.
What is deleted
When you delete your account, the following is permanently removed:
- Your account (email and authentication credentials)
- All meal entries
- All symptom entries
- All meal photos
- All computed pattern insights
- Your profile (display name, known allergens, dietary restrictions)
If you have an active GutSense Plus subscription, it must be cancelled separately through your Apple App Store or Google Play account — Apple and Google control that billing, not us.
What is retained
Nothing personal. GutSense does not retain personal data after account deletion. Anonymous, aggregated usage events (such as the daily count of active sessions) are not linked to you and cannot be used to identify you.
Delete individual entries (without deleting your account)
You don’t need to delete your whole account to remove specific data:
- Meals — tap any meal on the Today timeline or in History, then tap Delete meal. The meal is removed immediately.
- Profile fields — open Settings to clear your display name, change your known allergens, or change your dietary restrictions at any time.
- Per-entry symptom deletion is coming in a future update. Until then, you can delete your full account to remove specific symptom entries, or contact info@tenhetapp.com for help removing individual entries on your behalf.
